Toyota and Lexus trucks and SUVs
and other cars with a reputation for reliability
Narrow on purpose. These are the vehicles people around here keep looking for used, year after year, and demand that does not soften is most of the reason they hold their money the way they do.
Simple drivetrains, readily available parts, and a service history that every independent shop in Austin already knows how to read.
Most of the life still ahead
We buy in the window where the steep part of depreciation has already happened to somebody else, and where a well-kept example still has a long way left to run.
That is the only honest case for a truck with six figures on the clock: what you are buying is remaining service life, not remaining depreciation.
What we pass on
Frames that spent winters north of here. Odometer readings that do not line up with the wear. High-mileage vehicles with no service history at all, where nobody can tell you what has and has not been done.
We also pass on plenty of cars that would sell fine — they are just not what we know. A lot this size does one thing well or several things badly.

How buying here works

Look at the listing
Price, mileage, VIN and photos are on the page. Ask for the Carfax before you drive over — we would rather you arrive already knowing what the vehicle is.

Come drive it
Call ahead so it is out front and warmed up. Weekends work, by appointment. Take it on Burnet and on MoPac, not around the block.

Have it inspected
Take it to your mechanic before you buy it. We will hand you the keys for it. If a shop finds something we missed, we would rather hear it from them than from you in a month.

Paperwork and keys
One price, on the listing, with the $200 dealer documentary fee already included — only sales tax and $128.50 for title and registration are added. Sold as-is. Bring your own bank or credit union, or pay outright — we are not a buy-here-pay-here lot and there is no in-house note.
